I usually feel quite up at this time of month (CD2) a whole new month ahead, but this time just feel like here we go again. Can't think of anything new to try this month and and fed up that all the things I am doing; cutting down drinking, no caffine (the other day I was lusting over the smell of someones Starbucks) popping the folic acid, poas, dtd to order, using pre-seed which are all for nothing.

Also fed up of people asking if we are going to have kids and lying to them. Can someone help with something to give me PMA this month?

I would recommend to perk you up this month, do something different. Go for a walk, take a picnic, borrow a dog if you don't have one, take a cycle ride, get outdoors...if you do that too much, stay indoors. Get in your Pj's early afternoon and get a dvd, book a massage or pamper session, go for a ski (indoors), take cash out of the bank and spend to your hearts content (til it's gone), Krispy Kremes, take up a hobby, sell things on ebay.......basically do anything to take your mind off in so you don't bore yourself silly thinking about it.

It's sooooo hard not to get hung up on it each month. We're wishing our lives away to the next OV and sometimes we need to invest time in ourselves and carry on living rather than living to get PG. It's like the "do you live to work or work to live?"

We're all living, just trying to create another life along the way. Go out and enjoy yourself Makeit3. You deserve a day off thinking about it :)

So Happy Sunday ladies. Have been busy making more bits for the blessing!

We BD just for fun last night forgot what that was like :rotfl:

I know that I am not PG this month have no SS at all not like before oh well at least ie means that I can now have the blessing and have some bubbly and enjoy myself. I am due to OV the weekend of our blessing so we could have a blessing baby (fingers crossed ) :D

Having a day when I thinik it will never happen again but then I know when it does I will be scared that I will M/C again at least this time I will have the power to get the doctors & midwive to listen to me. Unlike last time when noone did

Excellent post fanta. I think its too easy to get caught up in this ttc until it takes over your life. I know I've found myself getting really stressed and doing more harm than good.

Reports here. EWCM but BDing was largely unsuccessful (well from a ttc angle anyway, it was rather enjoyable anyway). Made the best of it but if I don't get a BFP this month, I wont be surprised.

Giz - at the moment we live in a flat and I dont fancy lugging a pram up and down the stairs, even if it is one way of getting rid of the baby weight. Property prices being huge here we could afford a bigger place in a terrible area or move out of the city to a small town nearby and buy a house with a garden. My commute to work probably wont be too much more and the air quality is so much better there too so it just seems like the best option. Putting TTC on hold is the best idea because I don't fancy doing a move in the horrible early stages.

    Afternoon ladies.

Hope you have the fresh (sometimes rainy) day it is up North. Regretting spending the day in as it's really mild out there. I've caught up on some telly, done my e-banking and have waxed a table that I was hoping to flog on eBay. Trouble is I want to keep it now as it looks lovely again so in true spirit have decided to!

Took loads of photos of other stuff to get shut off. I have a habit of falling for beautiful sinks for a bathroom we were planning but as the room gets small and becomes an en-suite rather than bathroom, my large white slab sink will have to go :(

Onwards and upwards, will enjoy watching the pennies come in for what I flog. I'm thinking...baby fund :)

On the old TTC thing, CD7 for me CBFT low but worth a go anyway so had lots of fun this morning BDing :) I hope I don't anxious when the CBFT goes higher and I have my house guest again. Hey ho. There's always next month if not this.
  • Hello all you lovely ladies,:D

Hugs to those who need them! :)

Well im a bit confused tbh, was supposed to be ovulating from omnday onwards so we DTD on the days leading up to it, and have been testing each day with OV strips but no OV??? Am i missing summat? Im confuzzled lol, new to TTC so not sure what it may mean? :oI have been charting for a couple of onths and have had a 28 day cycle and then a 30 so just did an average, am i doin summat wrong do u think?

I don't think I OV'd last month but I still had AF. My temp went up too. I used the CBFT and it might have missed it if that's possible. It only measures hormone levels like the strips do....I stayed on high fertility until I came on so guessing I was highly strung that month!
I'd say to take your temps too Feisty with a Basal Thermometer then you can see if your temp goes up....although this is generally after you OV but at least you can chart that.

How long did your temp stay up? If it's something like 2 weeks, then I'd say you ov'd;)
