Trying for a Baby part 5....

Evening ladies,

So its that time of year where if we conceive we will be having a xmas baby. Has anyone given as much thought to it as me?

Im debating whether to go for it or not, i ALWAYS said no-way as id hate it if my birthday was on top of xmas, but its another month where my dream will disappear

I know, in an ideal world, a summer baby would be great, but I'd be happy for one anytime, even on christmas day...tho not much fun for babba as they get older and realise they're only getting half the presents!

For me the time it's born really doesn't matter anymore. I don't think we'd be on this if we were the type of people who thought everything just happened as planned and like it does in the movies, or like it does to our perfectly perfect friends and lives. So a winter baby means snuggling up in a cosy house and watching the snow fall and having people visit you rather than trek around like an army for one person. Plus, if it's cold the hot sweats or swollen legs will go down more than they would in summer.

Always look on the bright side girls. PMA + OV = PG

It's just maths

We'll get there and if we don't, we're (mostly) healthy and have our friends and families...and adoption/fostering. Whatever...I WILL BE A MUM one day :):):):) and hopefully we all will be.

I've read a bit onlne too about how it seems to have helped some women conceive,and the lady I am going to see told me that she has helped 3 women recently in the same situation as me..ie have had miscarriages and are now ttc again.

Can't say for definite, MV, but I had reflexology a few times (as a guinea pig for my pal that was training to do it), and she found obstructions in the area that represents the reproduction system, and she specifically worked on these. The last time she did it was in the January and I was pregnant by March. Could have been coincidence, and there's no medical proof, but by the same token, you've nothing to lose.

Morning Ladies

So tonight is the biggest night in my work social calenader It is our annual Institue Dinner!!! :j All black tie & posh frocks! I have a dress picked up and I am having my hair done later so hoping it will help me feel FAB :eek:

My DH is a DEC 16th baby. I am not bothered when I have a baby as long as it is one meant for this world it can be born winter spring summer for Fall

iainsmum - thanks for sharing. I've read quite a few stories simillar to yours, so I'm definitely going to give it a go!

suzy - I have thought about times of the year etc, but that's more thanks to my (slightly barmy) mum who is big into astrology/new agey stuff etc, and quotes star signs all the time.

The only one I am a bit wary of is Scorpio (think thats something like 21st Oct to 21st Nov)..but to be honest, like Fanta whenever a bub came along would be a-ok by me!

If I hadnt had my mc in Jan I would have been due beginning of Sept, which I was really chuffed about. had images in my head of Autminal days and a Virgo baby (my mum has told me is a lovely sign)

Got loads to do today and a very busy weekend (party tonight, rugby tom :j) and really should get off here and do some work.

Really? My sister is a September Virgo and she's an absolute !!!! lol

I think I've said already we're on a break to avoid December / Christmas. OH hates being born near Christmas with a passion so since we have the opportunity to affect it we're doing so. I was totally on board originally as it's such an expensive month already - but now I don't care and just want to be pregnant already!!

UTI came back and I'm on antibiotics for a week now. :mad: It's making me nervous about DTD as that's what caused it most likely, another hurdle to get over.

Me and female Boss are rubbing each other up the wrong way due to PMT I think. I could smack her right now, just sitting here biting my tongue as usual. TGIF.

Thanks just waiting for my hairdresser !

Refelxology is great I had two sessions before my last bfp sadly we lost that bean. I Have had two more sessions but she is working on healing me first before she starts really working as she said that things still needed time to recovery.:o I am hoping that at the next session she will be able to start on the vertical work that helped me last time. At the end of the day it helps me to be mored relaxed a calmer and that all has to help :j that and lots of BDing :rotfl::rotfl:

I am a bit nervous about my dress tonight it is a bit releaving!!!! :eek: Tit tape is in order :eek::eek::eek:
