I'm not willing to be a dead one. Although OH donates his organ to me on the odd occasion;) But on a serious note, I have thought about it but compromised and try to give blood as I have the in demand type. Get you with all that college knowledge.

I registered on the Organ Donor website when i first got the internet, i also added my kids on there too. Had to tell hubby my reasons as to why, but he understands and asked me to sign him up to.

I carry a card....I've never been put on a register list as far as I know, doesn't mean to say I've forgotten though:o:rotfl:

If a person has a donor card, the card has no legal significance. It is just an indication of the deceased's wishes. It CAN be overruled by relatives.

If the persons name is on the donor register, this is legally binding. The relatives CANNOT overrule this.

I was shocked by this, I thought that once you had the card that's it:eek:
