Excuse my ignorance but what does 'ppr' stand for?

Having more than one account is not actually against the forum rules/T&Cs.

I'm sure you know that, but I think a lot people mistakenly think there is a complete blanket ban no-matter what.

It's using an AE to disrupt the forum and others use of it that is not allowed; and of course creating one to circumvent a ban/PPR.

This sticky from 2005 is entitled Clones/AEs

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=102051

and suggests that people may not have more than one account.

I would have used a confused smiley here (as I am by what that sticky really is supposed to mean) ... but apparently I'm not allowed to so I have to use words instead to express my confusion.

Clarification of the above has been asked for several times, but we have never had a clear answer.

Even with clear evidence the Abuse Team often allow people to continue posting. Fair enough, but the rules need to be clarified and applied equally to everyone.
    Gone ... or have I?

    Hi all

We're entirely happy for people to have more than one username provided doing it isn't for the purpose of causing trouble on the forum. We don't class that as being an "AE".

Now the question's been answered, let's all calm down now!

    Thanks!

    Andrea :)
