Acne on my back

Sounds really random, but try washing your back with anti dandruff shampoo - it contains zinc which should help. Also, keep pestering about being referred to a dermatologist, you're perfectly entitled, because the longer they leave you suffering the more chance you have of permanent scarring. I was prescribed trimethoprim through my dermatologist, which is actually used for urine infections, and that worked a treat for my face - used in conjunction with differin cream it was fab. Differin is apparently a form of the stuff that's used in the evil roaccutane, but no nasty side effects!0

Ugh Acne, I've been struggling with them for the last 7 years! >.<
I went to my GP and was prescribed Duac cream which helped a lot, in fact it cleared up all my acne on my face and neck (that's my problem area) but since finishing that treatment, it's come back. I really don't know what to do except go back and get Duac again but apparently that's not good for long-term use. Right now, I'm leaving the unsightly things alone but I feel your anguish.0 -
have you tried dead sea salt in your bath water?0

I want to get some of that, but where, do you know?
health food shops, holland and barret do it, I get mine from my reflexologist, she sells spa find products.
They also do a problem skin/acne range.

I use the products for dry skin as mine is dry and sensitive and now I have found it i'll nbever use anything else. My daughter gets very sore dry skin and their stuff is excellent.0 -
