Acne on my back

I have a few spot on my back. Most under the skin ones. They really hurt. Sometimes my back itches. I hate them, tried a few products (bezyl 10percent wash and clinque stuff) both dont work. Only thing that cleared them up for a bit was the one days sun in Spain last November. They vary from really bad to okay. I am 24 soon and wish they would go away
Tried years ago stuff from Doctors but it upset my stomach too badly. And never did anything. I always have a few spots on my face, nothing major, I can cope with these. Not the ones on my back anymore.
Anyone know of anything that works? There is very little on the market for the back

I'd go back to my doctor and explain. He can give you a low dose anti biotic. Woked well for my son.I dont mean the block buster Roacutane which many are wary of!Norn Iron Club member 4730

Try a tea tree oil body wash. Worked for me!0

If you don't do so already make sure you use your soap/shower gel after you wash your hair and make sure you wash your back throughly.
If you hash your hair after your body then your conditioner can leave a residue on your back and cause spots.0 -
DD1 had a brief period like this, really nasty painful boily things. A sterile pinprick into it and a blob of magnesium sulphate (drawing paste, a few pence from the chemist) gave a path for the pus to get to the surface. I relieved the pressure on the ones ready to go (easing, not squeezing) and finished off with antibacterial hand gel and a chocolate Hobnob for her. Not pleasant, not by the book, but they were gone in the week as the gel nuked the bacteria responsible.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0

Feel embarrassed to talk about it but nothing really comes of them by squeezing. Just makes them scar and hurt for longer. I even have them on my chest now. I am not infested in them, only about 5 to 6 most times. But loads of pink marks where previous ones were as I am pale skinned. Getting me really down. What am I doing wrong? I drink 2 litres a day and no fast food of choc.0

I had the same problem, and my Dr prescribed low-dose antibiotics (Doxycycline). I've been taking them about 6 weeks and my back is almost clear! Right from about a week in they stopped being so angry and painful. Talk to your doctor.0

You're not doing anything wrong. It's a myth that acne is caused by junk food. It's overactivity in your sebaceous glands, which can then get infected. Not your fault, you're just unlucky. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Could be bacteria living on the skin getting out of control. Octenisan can be prescribed by your GP (so another reason to see them) and you could try using a teaspoon on damp salt on the area as a scrub too.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0

Go to the doc - I put it off for 15 years - I was 30 when I went. Eventually I had to accept it wasn't going away on its own. I use Zineryt now and it's helped a lot... at least it helped break the cycle. My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Yea I might have to go again. Are these all tablet forms? My stomach just don't agree with them thats the only problem. Wish there was a bath oil or scrub instead. Trouble with it being on the back you can;t reach it. I think it is the bacteria, and too much oil. As when in Spain the sun nearly cleared it all up! Then in the last month or so its back again0
