I have no idea really, probably because I left uni when I did, but I had due due to my health.

Elfen - Hope you're feeling better sooner rather than later.
Gemzie - Get them to double check what you owe - I've no idea how it all works but is there anyway of paying it off in installments?
Bookie - Glad someone seems to be giving you advice - hope they ring back soon.
IA - Is Ash enjoying school?
Still raining so opted to stay in, made a scrummy onion soup which we've just had for lunch and DH will be off to bed in a mo - he's started yet more new meds today (the ones he started last week were so violently wrong he had to stop) He's very dopey and his legs are really bad so best he sleeps the afternoon away.

Is it your loan or fees that they say you owe back? And when did you leave your course?Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

I may be able to but if I don't pay immediately then I won't be able to do my next OU course which starts in a couple of weeks as I won't get funding.
So I'd have to arrange a payment plan and then find £400 for my OU courseredsquirrel80 wrote: »Is it your loan or fees that they say you owe back? And when did you leave your course?

I wouldn't have thought they could ask for the loan back early even if you did leave early (I know they can claim back fees if you leave early and they have paid them to the institution) - not totally sure though. Could you phone the student finance people at your old Uni for some advice, they should know the ins and outs of it.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
