I have seen people do this time and time again. They believe it is faulty but it isn't. Anyway, I didn't dispute that it originally had a fault as you claim they've worked on it.
i worked for dixon's and no that it doesnt work that way
I try to help you and you try to call me a liar? That nice.
currys said they replaced the rooter and that it worked in the shop
I'm not a TV engineer so haven't heard of such a component. I am doubtful though!
i told dem that if they wud llike to send a tec guy out to my home and i cud show him that the tv was stil not working they told me they couldnt
You worked in Dixons? You should know that they will not do a house visit for a 19"
now if i wasx lying y wud i try caught my self out??
I never said you were lying. I was implying that you might be a bit stupid. Thank you for agreeing to prove my point.0 -
apparently they'l give me a replacement if i have the stand, that way they can sell it off in the shop, but they wont repair it again coz they said its working..... but the channels arent tuning in, not only in my home but in my parnets home aswel, i thought at 1st that it was my connection so i got my cable rewirewd, but that made no difference, i tried it in my partners home and there was the same problem,0

And the stand is required to repair the TV because...?
I worked in Currys for many years and booked a load of TVs for repairs without stands both under warranty and service agreements.
A few exceptions:
If the repair is not carried out within the time limits (4 weeks warranty, 6 weeks coverplan, 21 days whateverhappens) then we'd need to offer an exchange but only when the stand is returned.
The product cannot be repaired.
The product does not have a repair warranty; can't think of a single TV over 15" that this applies to but there are a handful of TVs that Currys cannot book a repair for. They can only offer exchanges.0 -

I'm in no way stupid, and they can do house visits under certin circumstances, and in this case it is apparently working in there shop but not in my home, the problem cud be solved easly in my case only for thick !!!'s like your self who only thinks inside the box, in a few cases a tec guy can be sent out to a home were a problem is occouring no matter wat size the television......0

Partmaster could probably sell you a stand for £23.
For the record, I don't believe you worked in Dixons unless you were the cleaner, maybe?0 -
