Viessmann installation

Hi All,

Had a quote for a Worcester Bosch combi 37CDi but looked around and am now considering the Viessmann 200-W 35kW (with weather compensation if the price is right). The quotes I've had for the WB options from this firm have been very competitive. Would it be silly to have them install a Viessmann if they are not Viessmann accredited (I know there will only be a 3 yr guarantee instead of a 5 yr one) - I'm awaiting their quote but I suspect it'll be competitive also. Are boilers so different that a WB installer could mess up a Viessmann installation?

if i was fitting a combi boiler in my house i would fit a valliant in second place would be the bosch ...
boilers are boilers not much that can be different in installation ..
please make sure the plumber checks your water flow and pressure to make sure you can fit a 35kw
    hope this helps .

  • i would fit a viessmann 200 not 100 over any valliant, great boilers, fixed so many valliants with the same problem time and again, they cannot make a decent diverter valve

not sure i would agree with you on that one but we all have the right to our own opinion .

    Correct

Viessmann are excellent quality , I was a vaillant installer , but they have just gone down hill , and the ones i`ve fitted a few years ago are bitting me in the !!!! and dropping out just after warranty .

Look on the Viessmann website find an installer , put in your post code and look for someone who has do the 200 course , ring them and ask if they have the experience of fitting them .

The boiler does need commissioning properly it not just a Plug in and Play

    Weather Comp is great

  • Agree agree agree, we advise all customers to fit Viessmann over any other boiler.

We are accredited installers for Vaillant and Viessmann.

If you can find a gas engineer to say a bad thing about a Viessmann boiler I will be amazed

As someone who has a Viessmann 200 weather compensation boiler then if you get one, you won't be disappointed.

None of the swings in temperature as the thermostat clicks on and off, just gentle heat.
