Why does it say "Good Luck" when you order the remote. Sounds to me like they are charging £1.50 to enter a competiton or something to win one.0
-
If it were a competition I am sure it would be illegal as there is nothing indicating it is a competition up to the point where you commit to the 1.50 call. It makes clear on the graphic "buy now 1.50" and clearly indicates that the 1.50 is for postage and packaging. Also uses language like get yours now etc. I think it looks like the real deal. Maybe they are planning on getting the money back by a proportion of people using the "interactive" services from which profit is made on the connecting calls. Ie I assume that the Yahoo Mail service and others (that the Navigator is particularly useful for) through Sky interactive make some money on the connecting calls for sky???

I've ordered one (maybe) by using the above method using my Old Sky
Remote control. I'm hoping that the Navigator comes with more codes
so that I can control my Hyundi Plasma TV with it. The original control
has no codes for this make.
Just one thing puzzling me.....It never asked me where to send it!!!
I only use the Sky Box on the free channels using my original Sky Card.
So, I've been charged £1-50 for the phone call but what are the chances
of me receiving anything?0 -
You should be ok, they get the address from whoever the sky card is registered to.0
