My extras (apart from daily jobs):
Get DH to sort through piles of paper everywhere that I can sort and start to file
    Take plastics for recycling
    Clean out cutlery drawer (yuk)
Sort through kitchen drawers and get rid of stuff
Clean French doors to room no-one enters as full of DH's carp
Clean baby carrier as someone coming to see (and hopefully buy) it tomorrow
Strip covers off car seats and wash and then list on ebay

    MACAW
Make sure washing up is done after tea each night
[STRIKE]M[/STRIKE] - all done, worktops cleaned, sink shone and hob cleaned - all thanks to Star Drops! [STRIKE]T[/STRIKE] [STRIKE] W[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]T[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]F[/STRIKE] S S

Phew, done everything and vacuumed through the whole house so, hopefully, I won't need to do it on the weekend (that's the plan anyhow!). I only need to quickly tidy up the kitchen, then fetch DD from school - she has ballet at 5.00 so DH will be in charge of DS for a while ..... will he cope?!!

Where has the day gone, it is almost school pick up time.

Hi everyone - I'm a newbie -please can I join? have followed you for weeks and LOVE the thread. I've tried to fly and am almost there but I think those stars would really help. After years of struggling to look after the house with Mr Grump, DS, DD and being a senior manager in a school I have finally retired (well nearly), the family have flown the nest and I am left with Mr G but plenty of time to fly.

    Love to everyone x x :A I feel I know you already

I couldn't see this up anywhere, sorry if already posted.

    :xmastree:

Hi Toots, ceebeeby, xx_Jo_xx and everyone for your very warm welcome. I'm still finding my way around the site and I'll work it out soon. Already you have inspired me to complete level 1 and 2 in the blink of an eye. I went to local store this afternoon for the usual update of fruit veg and bread but I found myself in the 'cleaning' aisle and bought Stardrops and microfibre cloths - FLYLADY TREASURE!:j Then I hauled Mr Grump along the sea front for his daily walk and my, those waves were very high. Glad to be back for a nice cuppa and chat with my new friends

love as ever to you all :heartsmil (I'm trying out all the smilies - its fun)
  • Thanks for all the good wishes - interview went well I think. Only downside will be the hours they'll offer - not quite what I want really. Need to do some sums again...

Got the costs of the dyslexia tutoring - its  per session but necessary so needs must find the pennies. Assessment in a couple of weeks time and then it all starts - sadly midweek midday - so for a while we'll be back and forth to school several times on those days...

Right Mr T or Mr A beckons...

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
