    Cant wait for that moment for me - been trying for ages but the scales stubbornly stick at the same level. At least they arent going up and up.

    Actually, maybe that's it - the scales are stuck :rotfl: and really Ive lost loads? (In my dreams)

    There's an OS weight loss thread on this board, a flylady fitness discussion on the FB group, and dusty posted a link to a nectar points offer for fitbug last night, which pooh and I are both using and seems to be keeping me on track for once! All worth a try...

    Showered and dressed. Lemon oil in the oil burner to freshen the place up. I'm going to open all the windows, light a fire and sit down and get this morning's work done before embarking on the next bit of flying. I guess I should find my list at some point :o

    Morning all,
    I'm waiting for the fire service to come and do a safety check so i've been running around tidying the whole house this morning.
    Ive just read your post Holly ..My Bf is does these checks as he is a firefighter , He is always giving me grief saying I would fail miserably on the check as I have my bedroom window cluttered with boxes of stuff - That block my exit . Another reason why I joined this thread ;) So I understand greatly with what you are saying , as whenever he calls round with his work collegues in tow , I run round like an idiot moving everything downstairs like dds toys etc in the hope they dont give him stick over it ...:rotfl::rotfl:
    So good lick with that - Im sure youll pass :D
    Nuttyrockeress On the subject of sofas, we have 2 leather sofas that are brown (one which I spilled nail varnish on a few years ago and proceeded to remove it with varnish remover and took off all the leather :eek: - but thats a story for another day)
    What is the best method/product for cleaning leather sofas?
    I have the same problem with mine { same colour as yours also } . I posted a thread the othe rday asking the same question which can be found here which might help http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2230559&highlight=
    Pigpen Acetone free nail polish remover and a cotton bud.. dab don't rub.. works on carpet too.. even black polish on beige wool carpet (thank you Tiddles)
    baby wipes!! Or a cloth, warm water with either w-up liquid or stardrops
    Thanks for this pigpen ...I will give this a go over the weekend :D

  • Hi everyone
    Just had my very first interview! Spoke to a lovely woman who also went to Malawi a while ago, and it seemed to go well. I'll probably hear within a week apparently. Fingers crossed!

    Thanks so much for signing the petition everyone xx

    Flying - I cleared my desk and filed all the papers on it. Now need to find where I put the grave form. And did the washing up that I asked boyf to do last night.

    Love and hugs to everyone,
    xx

    In the last hour I've

    * Had a cuppa
    * Made sandwiches for the freezer
    * Write 1 letter of thanks (for yesterday)
    * Written two letters of complaint (for other things!)
    * Paid 2 bills on-line
    * Whooshed the soup for lunch tomorrow
    * Poured myself a Coke drink.gif

    The sun has just come out, so I'm going to take my compost to the bins (starting a brand new bin off today and I'm soooooo excited... oh god am I sad or wot?)

    Then there is no possible further excuse for not starting the bathroom...lol.gif

    I have spent HOURS trying to install DS's printer and have failed miserably...have asked the techies for help...failing that I shall get the number of our techie at work and invite him for a look - trouble is I'll have to 'tip' him...
    in the meantime I have made the beds and brushed my bedroom carpet :eek: at the 'invisible' hair...one day I shall have carpets that don't have a death grip on hair and fur...
    I shall go and clean the bedroom now
