Piggers - your daughter's friends and families are in my thoughts - I remember the younger brother of a mate dying of CF at only 17...

    - might be that if they organised the loan through Barclays Barclays are jointly and severally liable for the provision of the service, looking at what you posted. Contact ASAP as has been said...Barclays might have 'underwritten' it IYSWIM. Do try them and HANG ON to all paperwork. If you phone note down who you speak to, when and summarise what was said. Oh and check your household insurance and see if you have any legal cover ;)

Barclays were being somewhat slopey shouldered on the radio earlier... it was a different company and slightly different situation (company that had guaranteed to find people jobs or repay the loan), but they were given some stick for not checking out their partners properly. I think this might be it. However, I also think that they did talk about finding alternative training providers for those people who hadn't completed their courses.

Fingers crossed anyway - presumably finishing the course is the most important thing

I'm just making some beetroot & carrot soup for supper. Next call in 30 minutes then it's over... but 6am start for the gym tomorrow:eek:

Um... it's in cognitive psychology - it's about problem-solving techniques and motivational drivers for overcoming obstacles in understanding. :o
