Great... I'll pack up all the notebooks and pens and send them off to the two of you. I can't bear to throw things away, but I really, really don't need all this stuff.

And if I recycle all the paper from my training folders, then I'll have loads of spare files and I don't use files. And probably dividers too...

I do like all the space I'm making though... it might even reach my desk at some point :rotfl::rotfl:

Off to look at what options there are for monitors and keyboards... if I can run my laptops through a switch box it'll make life easier...

Pigpen, what time do you kick your kids to bed? I am having a problem with mine. They fall asleep by 9.30, and are pain to wake up in the mornings. BTW, I also heard about allergy tests and that wheat could be a possible offender (some clever show on Radio 4)

I really can't afford allergy testing and the docs won't do it because I don't get anaphylactic.. I do get rather wheezy with latex (this also rules out avacado, kiwi and banana).. but swallowing balloons is a silly thing to do anyway :p I know I have trouble with all red fruit (I get rashy) and salad stuff/melon/grapes/sweetcorn gives me chronic belly ache which results in rapid expulsion t'other end.. Bread I am ok with but, I don't like it so rarely eat any if I do it is usually toast. Garlic is the latest thing to kill me.. and the last few times I've had beef/tomato/onion I've been dodgy.. I'll have to have them in other mixes and see what happens.. Add this lot to.. I don't eat anything remotely spicy, no dried fruit, dislike cake, don't eat bacon and milk and milk products are disgusting (looking at milk in a glass makes me heave) I am a pretty difficult one to feed.. OH thinks I am mental because I would happily eat the same meal day after day after day.. he eats anything!! literally!

Mine are in bed as early as I can get them there.. usually at some point between 7 and 8.. the little ones go to sleep after a bit of chatting, though they did get a bit unruly until we had bedtime crack down.

DD1 (15) is supposed to go at 10.. if she doesn't she is grounded. DS2 (14) goes at the same time as the others but will read for a while, he is severely dyslexic and this is the only time he reads so he can carry it on for a bit longer. Actually 8 may be a touch early for him at 14.. but I'm mean so I don't care!

A wee bit off my list but not a lot DD still really ill so just doing what I can when I can. She had saved up her pocket money to buy a new house for her sylvanian families and it will be delivered tomorrow (well today now) so I hope she has a smile on her face even just for a couple of minutes.

I'm waiting to hear what Jo uses to clean her loo, my toilet brush sits in bleach and water all the time I just change the water often.

Lil-me lovely pic nice to put a face to your name

  • Well, after a good first week, last week and this week has gone completely to pot.

After having to tell the lazy housemate (who is landlady's BF) what to do in the first week, and printing out a weekly task sheet (for all of us...not quite a rota tho) he's spent the last week + 1/2 sat/sleeping on the sofa getting !!!!ed  He doesn't even shut a drawer or cupboard after looking in it...i'm so wound up! His GF is paying for everything, i'm paying half his food bill (me and his GF go halves on food shopping), and he can't even be arsed to take his own plate back in the kitchen! SO disrespectful of his GF's place, it's unreal! There's no way i'm picking up after him, i had carbon monoxide poisoning over the w/end (not in this house!) and could really do without having to wade thru his crap to get to the kitchen! The guy's 38 years old !!!!!!...i had years of having to tell my daughter what to do and pick up after her, i shouldn't have to even contemplate doing it with a grown man! His GF works her backside off, and he's just treating the place like a squat....grrrrr!:mad::mad:

My room is pretty much pristine tho (coz if i hadn't stayed out of his way this week i'd have throttled him! :D )...can i have a sympathy star please? :p:D

I'll be back next week, new and improved, coz things are gonna get sorted this weekend! Do i get a star for 'reflagging' the patio? :rotfl:

    Morning all

Have only caught up from the last Toots point.

    Lil-me -
love the photo! I've always wondered what you look like...

    Welcome traciann

Hugs piggers - hope you're feeling better soon

Hugs to you Jinky - please don't go - you're safe here

Boddy - what a nightmare with your next door neighbours! Let's hope once they've gone you get some decent ones in their place

Mumof2 - re the airport - stick by your guns. There are other ways for him to get home and it's really cheeky for him to want to put the money in HIS pocket and not yours for beign chauffeur!

Valli and others - I love stationery stores - all that blank paper just waiting to be written on!

Survived day two of training but the journey home was a mare - 3 hours  so by the time I'd done my homework and eaten all I was fit for was falling into bed. But it's the last day today and I've booked tomorrow off work so I can sleeeeeeep!

The first thing I'm going to do when I get in tonight is say hello to Gordon - he's been winking at me all week but I've been refusing his advances! I've also been ignoring the inviting looks I've been getting from Mr. White who's lurking in the fridge so I might just say hello to him too!

Right - off to catch up on the stars for Toots and then hit the road again
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
