    Jinky - hope everything's OK - you'll be missed...come back soon

    Boddy
    - hugs - that must be stressful for you

    Rosey
    - it WON'T be that bad honest...and just to make you smile I had one once (well I've had a few (I once had a heated discussion with my GP when he did it 'while you're here' - well he's hardly going to do it when I'm not...) - the discussion centred on whether I had a post partum infection and I insisted I hadn't) ...anyway back to the tale...
and they put a metal thing inside to hold you open IYSWIM (not as bad as it sounds, honest) well - I heard/saw the nurse flush it under the tap and I was braced for cold metal - up it went and I shot up the couch and yelped
'It's HOT!' (it wasn't it was warm but hey it's my story;))
'yes',' she said 'I warmed it up for you'
    and my reply?
'But I was braced for COLD!'
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

Sorry.....I'm going to jump in here.....LameWolf I realise you don't know my circumstances....but please never under-estimate the importance of smear tests.......I had cervical cancer....which spread.....radical hysterectomy last year......now my prognosis is terminal.....if I can prevent one more person going through this I will.......:(

Piggers Hope you feel better or at least get some relief from the discomfort soon xx

  • Jinky don't let some mean horrible people stop you doing the things you enjoy - you love this thread and we love you so why should you stop being here because of what someone wrote on another thread that is untrue anyway? Everyone who knows you knows it's not true, and that's what matters. Not what some strangers think. Don't be bullied into leaving MSE. Stay and feel the flylady love!
