    Re Flying......
    Wednesday ~ Living/Family/Reception room
This is gonna be interesting – Mr LW is working from home today, so I'll be working round him!
    Level One
Declutter and vacuum floor! Vacuumed Sunday; now all decluttered. Even got Mr LW to put away his CDs!:T
Wipe sticky grubby marks from sofas Done

    Level Two
Wipe sticky grubby marks from walls and paintwork
    Done
Vacuum nuder furniture you can safely move.. we have bit of a baby boom on at the moment so please all be careful!!! Cannot move furniture; vacuuming all done Sunday by Mr LW, incl. moving stuff.
Wash any smelly soft furnishings (this may include pets and OH's)
All OK; no pets, and Mr LW has already had a shower today.:D

    Level Three
Clear and wipe firesurround.. Done, incl those fiddly little glass flame effect thingies.
Decant all the miscellaneous papers and bits into a box N/A; all already tidy, in filing boxes if needed, shredded/recycled if not needed.
Polish any glass.. screens, pictures, ornaments mirrors etc Done apart from the corner with Mr LW's computer desk in, which has had a once-over with the lambswool duster-on-a-stick, as he's working there. (There's a framed cross-stitch picture of two wolves over his desk).:)

    1. Wipe and water any plants N/A
    2. Vacuum fluff from the fire and behind the radiator Done
    3. Sort through the box of miscellaneous belongings N/A – there isn't one!;)
    4. Binbag dance N/A – done Monday night, and nothing has appeared since.
So.......Wednesday is as complete as I can manage.

Off to the GP in a little while; Mr LW is coming with me, as I get so very nervous and forget everything I wanted to say, and I need to remember to tell her how awful the last hospital visit was. Thanks everyone who has wished me well for this.:)

Hello - let's try typing this again! Just tried to post and lost it.

I'm afraid I've not caught up with the thread properly - DH is home and has been on the laptop all morning. He's struggling with this cold he's got, but hopefully will manage to do some work on his tax return.
I'm very tired today and haven't managed to go out as planned. Never mind. I've been out to the shop to get milk and bread for breakfast and have strengthened a box with masking tape as I'm planning to sort out a major hotspot. We've been dumping stuff there since we moved here so it's about time it was sorted!

In our bathroom we have a wall with cupboards high up, and below that a large shelf - sort of baby changing mat size. Under that are three small drawers (where i keep my undies) and a big gap next to the drawers which is where the hoover should live. The gap and shelf are piled high with stuff and the plan is to rehome things or chuck 'em! It will be done very slowly but I'm feeling very enthusiastic!
oooh coin counting we have nearly £500 for our holiday fund!!! DH is obesessed with counting it every week or so
WOW! You should join my loose change thread!

Sabs thanks for the tips on the charity shop ragman. I’ve decided to shred up all the old pjs and use them to stuff cushions and things! I will ask about a ragman next time I’m in the charity shop though

Twoflower I hope you get some sleep soon xx

Carol I hope your exam goes well

Goodness, this thread is having more of an impact that I ever imagined. I finished with my client and then PUT HIS FILE AWAY IN THE FILING CABINET instead of
    a) leaving it on the coffee table;
    b) sticking it in a pile on or next to my desk

And all the while I was thinking 'what will the flyladies think if they saw me leave it here, instead of putting it away?'

    Meanwhile:

I really need to go find new bras but I just know if I do I'll end up spending a small fortune.. but mine are so uncomfy.. and I only have 2 now!!
Bras are important. Apparently they need replacing every 6 months as after that they generally stop doing their job properly (something you don't generally realise until you get a new one!). So go out and get it over and done with :D

Hope it went OK. It's worth writing yourself a list for when you go into the GP, so you don't forget anything.

One load of laundry in, one load of shopping done and I'm now on the first of my four 90 minute teleconferences for today. I found my bluetooth headset, so can do one of them either going for a walk or on the treadmill later. I'm going to spend the rest of this one clearing up my desk and doing the odds & ends of ironing now I've caught up on a few bits and pieces.
