  • Am I the first to request A STAR FOR WEDNESDAY PLEASE - or am I too obsessed with this website. I am happy to say that we delcuttered the lounge the first week I came on here which makes it so much easier. Just having a quiet 15 mins to catch up on here and bit of Philip Schofield before I pick my DD up from playgroup. So, this morning I have:
    • All levels to complete my star
    • TD
    • WM x 2
    • DW emptied
    • 2 hours of work - bookings and emails all done
    • Hoovered all upstairs again
    • Wiped down in kitchen
I have to thank everyone on here that made me declutter in that first week cos everything is so much easier and so much quicker to do now I've got rid of all the crp.

Hope all is ok with you all - hugs to those who need them

Had a good day yesterday, but feeling achy and tired today (that'll teach me to
have baby no 4 lol-starting to get bigger now).
Did a gammon joint on some veg and stock in the SC overnight, so sorted that out this morning after the school run.
Now have a nice gammon stew/soupy thing in the slow cooker, full of veggies and pulses and smells gorg, plus the rest of the joint stashed in the fridge for a few more meals (should do at least 2 if I keep OH away from it lol).
Aiming for just level 1 today, but may hit 2 and do any other bits of the list if I get to them.
Trying to do a quick SS over the rooms done earlier in the week and need to put away the clothes I ironed yesterday.

    Afternoon campers..I think I am back..lol

This cold/lurgy thingy has really knocked me for six. I can't believe it has been here for over 8 days now, and still it shows no sign of going away. Thankfully I don't feel like I should be in bed permanently, I'm sure I spent most of last week asleep in my bed or on the sofa. I know I sure don't remember last week..lol Anyway I have finished the last of the flu tablets (my second box of them!) and am almost to the end of the cough medicine. The nose feels semi normal now, at least it has stopped leaking at every opportunity..lol. The cough is easing but still a pain in the rear..grr!! I have lost my voice though but that is par for the course, probably all that coughing I have been doing. Oh and I have some energy back finally :j Not a lot but some which is an achievement on last week..lol

Now onto sorting some of the house out, it hasn't been tackled since I fell ill - DH didn't do anything at all. Although he did come home early one night, so he could cook dinner he said but I had already got something out of the freezer that I threw in there a few weeks ago. So all he had to do was defrost it and heat it up.. I can't believe that I have managed to cook dinners for him through this illness, I even made him a homemade meat pie.. I swear I need a medal..lol:A I haven't eaten dinners but he has..lol. Anyway my appetite is returning slowly so that is a good sign.

Have a meat and onion mix cooking in the oven, was meant to be a steak pudding but I haven't got enough suet mix and by the time I bought the suet it would be too late to put in the slow cooker to cook. Am now considering putting it on at about 3ish on a low - the prepared suet pudding uncooked. I am hoping it should work as all it really needs to cook is the suet not the innards as they are already cooked. I promised this to DH as it is his favourite dinner and it is his birthday today..plus I want to make up to him for being ill and totally out of it..lol

Haven't read through the thread from last week or this week so am sorry if I have forgotten anyones birthday or hugs when they needed them. But here's some *Hugs* for people now.
