    Hi guys

First job was cancelled this morning so I did the bathroom and my room, thinking I'm not gonna bother with the list everyday, it would be easier (and less stressful) for me to give myself a 2 hour window once a week and do the whole house, like I do at work. Hope that's ok, I know I'm supposed to post a list with my posts but I will be posting my dailies?

Lily cat has been missing since yesterday morning *sigh* hope the little rascal turns up soon as I'm starting to fret lol she never goes away, ever!

Got Bolognese in the SC, the smell was fab when I came in from work, hurrah to whoever invented them :T TD is on DW is on WM x 2 done with one more to go.

    Welcome shopaholic :hello:
feel better soon to all the sickies xx

:eek::eek: It has just taken me 4 hours to clean out my cooker - and that doesn't include the grill ... just the bottom bit and the shelves!!! It's about 90% perfect but I'm declaring it done for this week, because any more is above and beyond this weeks duty!!! It's the roof bit I'm finding the hardest. I've got some 'paint' on stuff that has to sit for 24 hours, so next time I'm pulling something out of the freezer that can micro for dinner I'll finish it off.

You'd better start fattening them up ;)

Lunch eaten (stuffed peppers). Washing in TD. I'm attached to the landline, so I don't think I'll make it out for a walk today. I'm going to have a bit of a paperwork blitz and clear my desk. I have a two hour break after this, so think I'll probably aim to get to the gym in time for the third session.

In the meantime, I should be able to make decent inroads into my filing and get my desk into a state where I can work more easily!

Have cleaned laptop and pc today.

Sorry I don’t have a chance to catch up with 15 odd pages, !

Boy am I excited, I have been doing the family tree for a while now (about 8 years) and there has always been a link missing / black hole, my late mother / grandmother would never talk about it, there was a chance remark in a Christmas card from my late mother’s cousin, so I rang her and asked about this and who she was referring to, who this person was, and got ‘oh some sort of 3rd cousin or similar’ I duly ask and got said person’s address.

Cut a long story short, sent this person a letter last week, she rang yesterday for nearly an hour, :janyway she is in her 70's, and she has done her family tree for 40 odd years, and she too has this blank bit………..she is not sure how she is related to me, but agrees she is, and more so she told me she has met me when I was 14 months old!! :rotfl::rotfl:And is some what miffed I don’t remember!! :rotfl:I never even knew she existed..:o too late to ask my mother...

Any way I am off to London on Saturday to meet her,:T and get her bit of the tree and see if between us we can work out the missing link / dark family secret is……

    I have hovered round

Wow, just read 13 pages of the thread, updated diary and NSD's bits, done work lists for tonight when kids come in (they're going to have to do their own wardrobes!!!).

I'm so rubbish at remembering everyones names, but the bits that stand-out are that there are still some hugs to send (esp. to toochoosy).

    Afternoon all

Survived, actually had fun, and have booked to go again next week!

Lil_me hope DS2 has had a lovely birthday despite the appointment

Kaz - that is so exciting, enjoy your meeting

Greenbee - fattening children up so that they will fit in 2nd hand bras is a moneysaving step to far!

I have 30 minutes until I need to go and collect DS3 from tennis club so I'm going to give the bathroom a quick clean before I get chucked off the thread for never flying.
