Oh one post I do remember was Poppy's: I now know why you call him KH lol. If that had been my Ex I would have gone mental, what a cheek!!! When my Ex came round to see DD2 I used to watch him like a hawk, couldn't trust him at all, didn't even let him upstairs in the end. Maybe you should make that rule, when he comes to see the kids he can go in downstairs and thats it. I wouldn't put up with it.
I agree, in fact after being threatened with him trying to move back in, I stopped letting mine in the house at all! Luckily now he's settled with a proper place of his own and a gf, I don't think he'd even want to come in now anyway. I haven't worked out KH yet, although only just got TD today :rotfl:

Today have done to level one and will plod on and hope to get to level three by end of week (this is ok isn't it?) DS was home from school ill, but felt better mid afternoon, he asked if he could play his xbox and I agreed he could have this privilidge only after he had tidy his room! :D

Have also built 2nd wardrobe carcass, so tomorrow will be the final push to get the internal drawers built and in along with 2 more shelves and then the hard bit of fixing two large glass sliding doors to the whole thing. Or rather the hardest bit will be for me & my friend to get them upstairs

Just wanted to say good luck to Julie Jim, and woo hoo to Mudbath!

Not posting again until I have actually finished a list although I have made a start on both - big sympathy for Toots (and her alter ego) who is/are wading through all these pages .

Thanks for the good wishes on my DH interviews - the job market has really very much picked up in the last week or three, so if neither of these is right then there are five or six more to apply for. Something will come up and we can go back to living as a family :o.

Now, a few questions to more experienced pilots on this thread:
    1. how do you clean really dirty oven? I ss mine with hot soapy water, and the cloth was very brown, but the oven door does not look any different. :(Neat stardrops to begin with and a scourer, or biological washing powders/dishwashing tablets and hot water. All of these things have a degreaser in them which helps break down all the crapola stuck to your oven. It also helps if your oven is slightly warm... get the worst of it off with these and like someone else says, some biological washing powder in the bath is great for soaking the shelves/glass in. Once the worst of it is off, keeping on top of it with stardrops is much easier
    2. what are you best/ tried & tested FL tools/ tricks? I am running low on cleaning agents now. Any advice is wellcome. I know people use soda, vinegar, but how do they mix it all ....?
I dont know about everyone else, but I kept spray bottles I had for other things, and cleaned them out. One has stardrops and water (about 1/4 stardrops 3/4 water) which I use for general cleaning, Swishing and swiping surfaces etc.

I have another one with stardrops, water and tea tree oil, which I use in the bathroom and on windowsills and anywhere else prone to mildew and possible spores.

I use neat stardrops for oven and tough cleaning. I use vinegar/lemon juice and water for the windows and I go over the kitchen, bathroom and windows with a dry microfibre cloth to bring everything to a sparkling shine. HTH xx

Erm, wouldnt it have been easier to build it upstairs....removing the need to carry it up afterwards? :o

    Congratulations Mudders :T:T:T xx

I'm still having the car dilemma, I really don't know what to go for...not even the type of car, never mind how/what to pay for it, got some to spend, still agonising re debt, finace, loans etc.....argh.

Two 'givens', I hate putting petrol or diesel in so fuel efficiancy is a biggie and I like space/room. Any suggestions, I'd prefer an automatic too as an energy conservation exercise.
I hate filling the car up too... I want one I can plug in when i get home... How about looking at the VW bluemotion and seeing whether there are any automatics? Or look on one of those websites where you put in what you want and it comes up with something you can't afford...

Just finished work... it's too late to go the gym (especially as I have to be back there at 7am tomorrow) but I'm over 5000 steps short of today's target and it's now dark outside...
