nopot - definately power on too high for the chocolate IMO. Gentle heat in a bain marie rather than the microwave or on the defrost setting if you want to use the microwave. Also the same with the syrup. They still taste the same though even if the chocolate goes a bit lumpy! Years since I made them with my kids being older, though I bet they'd still eat them!
Rose - swallow that pride my lovely, after all it takes 2 to get into a mess so her DS is guilty as well!!!! Amd if she's owt like me she would relish cleaning someone elses place rather than her own!! LOL x
higgerty - I must be stupid but surely haggis arn't real?! I thought it was made with stomach lining (or some such stuff), offal and oats/wheat (god knows really!) and herbs, shows you what I know

Sorry LW but my energy is pretty low too. I need it all myself. Can you get Mr LW to go to Morries on his own or borrow one of their scooters?
I want to go myself, as I can't trust Mr LW to stick to the list:cool:;). It's OK, he'll be pushing my wheelchair.:)

The bit I'm really dreading is the meds review at the GP; Doctors of any sort scare me stupid:eek::eek::eek::eek:and even another:eek:, and I just know I'm not gonna sleep tonight, so I'll be extra-tired tomorrow.

It's just unfortunate that I have three "extra" things scheduled for one day.:o

Sorry I posted and ran last night - DD came downstairs so I went upstairs with her, lay down on my bed and fell asleep!

Thanks for the good wishes for my interview.

    Lil-me - my interview's at 11.30 - in fact I was going to PM you - I'll do it in a bit.

Rose - it's for another Teaching Assistant's job but working 1-2-1 with a statemented child.

Mudders - that's great news - well done you.

Haven't done much today apart from washed dishes. Just in the process of making tea and waiting for DH to arrive.

    Hi all
Not such a bad day today....was good to see my sister and nephew. The best thing, though, is that in the hour between school run and her arrival I managed the following:

Tuesday ~ Kitchen, Utility and Dining areas
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Sweep and mop floors
    Declutter and wipe worksurfaces[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    Wipe ALL large appliances
Wipe and replace all small appliances
    Scrub tiles.. and grout..
    [STRIKE]Shine sink and taps[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
Throw away 10 items you have kept for ages but have absolutely no use for!.. Found one thing so far (loo brush...hasn't been used since time immemorial - and no, my toilets aren't dirty, a good squirt of bleach does the trick)
    Clear and wipe window sills
[STRIKE]Wipe table and replace cloth if necessary[/STRIKE]

In addition, I cleaned the downstairs loo, mopped the floor in there, mopped the living room floor and generally got rid of the hotspots.

Now we're dealing with a tired and stroppy 5 year old (really need the *rolleyes* smiley here).

    Hope everyone is well?
    Take care

Carlsberggal - Haggis are real!!! I cant believe how many people dont realise that.... look here - http://www.obanargyll.com/haggis.html :p

Anyway - finished work early today, went into the nearest town, paid in some cheques and picked up my new bank card from another bank, went to Poundland then came home. Walked Dog. Did a 5 minute declutter in the kitchen and have now collapsed in a heap on the sofa.....

Im exhausted today.... think I burnt myself out last week with working lots of extra hours.

Not sure whether to burn myself out completely or have a bath and an early night and try harder tomorrow. xx
