  • Woo-hoo - Dashed like a wild haggis with its kilt on fire around the kitchen, swishing this and swiping that. The dinner is nearly ready in the oven, so just time for the floor to dry and for me to say:

    STAR PLEASE, TOOTS! :j:j:j

Wipe and replace all small appliances

    Level Three
[STRIKE]Throw away 10 items you have kept for ages but have absolutely no use for!.. [/STRIKE] loads of plastic microwave trays which are round so waste space in the freezer, and have no lids, so I use my round glass Pyrex dishes anyway. All gone to recycling (they take plastic foodtrays here)
[STRIKE]Clear and wipe window sills[/STRIKE] and door surrounds
[STRIKE]Wipe table and replace cloth if necessary[/STRIKE]
    Extras
    1. Muck out the fridge..
    2. [STRIKE]Muck out [/STRIKE]the oven [STRIKE]and hob[/STRIKE]
    3. [STRIKE]Muck out the microwave[/STRIKE].. or other small appliance.. toasters with dead mice in spring to mind!
    4. Tighten and wobbly pan handles!!
Without this list I would NEVER have started to clean at that time in the evening - thanks so much Piggers, Toots and Soappie.

Thanks for the good wishes on my DH interviews - the job market has really very much picked up in the last week or three, so if neither of these is right then there are five or six more to apply for. Something will come up and we can go back to living as a family :o.
Fingers and toes crossed for you both :D
  • Triker - can't help you if you need loads of space in the car, But I've had a peogeot 107 from new since april. Does 70 miles to the gallon, cheap insurance and cost £35 a year road tax. Only have the 3 door and boot very small, goodness knows how we will fit in a pram!! LOL Though they do do a 5 door. Mine since I got it has only done 1900 miles, you can tell what a sad person I am with living and working in the same village!!!
Flying - err emptied the DW and decluttered a drinky poo!
