I'm a sucker for George Clooney and Colin Firth but my guilty secret is John Craven :rotfl::rotfl:

didn't manage any stars but did cook a delicious roast (chicken) dinner. 24 is on at 9pm then bed for me. Lunch for tomorrow is done, might just get my clothes for tomorrow out now as it's one less thing for later then.

odd isn't it, who floats your boat.

Our clerk at work seems to have exactly the same taste as me - we both like Neil Oliver and Eddie Izzard...

she thought you were busy with prof yaffle fedup

and there are some I don't think I'd actually admit to...

Alan Alda (in Mash days) was a real dish and those eyes...

ETA just spotted Ragz posted last night on the SAHM thread - asked her to pop by and let us know;)

  • :wall: I'm really sad, i've really been trying to clean our house and try to fly as much as possible as cleaning doesn't come natural to me and it's never been something that I Can BA to do as i'd rather be doing other stuff, however this week, I feel like I am really starting to enjoy it.

Before DH took DSS home tonight, (baring in mind i have spent yesterday and today and Friday evening cleaning to catch up after my bad back this week) I said to DSS woo-hoo, clean house and he started to laugh and said clean, this isn't clean...... This comes from he whose mother is the lazyest bugg3r on earth.

This to top it all off is after not only cleaning all day today, I have baked him a birthday cake, baked a banana bread for mum, Dh and to take a bit to work tomorrow. He said that pots were all over the place - yes, this is because the dishwasher is on from the baking pots and I have to re load with the sunday roast pots - neatly stacked waiting to go in the dishwasher........ Also DH has started to put a door on in the kitchen and got phissed off part way as it didn't fit properly so left bits out.

I could of cried, I feel like all the effort, scrubbing, bleaching, cleaning hasn't been worthwhile. Sorry to be a sad sally but i'm really gutted. Do other people get such comments? I really thought I was making progress and I can see and feel the difference, perhaps it's just the clutter that he can't see past?
It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice

Valli - another vote for Alan Alda in his MASH days
nutty - clean for yourself. You know how hard you have worked - does it really matter what other people think? oh, and make him a nice Baldrick style cappuchino with extra chocolate bits. I find a spot of washing up liquid in a cup of tea is subtle, works well and was probably an accident. Getting the scabby dog to lick out the mug first may be a step too far......
