* I'm sleeping like a log (when poorly piglet lets me **rolls eyes**)
* Despite it being a 6 week month, I still have money in my bank! (not a lot but much better than I would normally have expected it to be!)
* I've not had a single argument with OH - in fact, we're getting on rather well!
* I'm generally more placid.
Makes me wonder why I ever drink in the first place?? I hope it continues.

just got of phone to helifax, they've charged me £8 so far for going 74p overdrawn for one day cause they took interest out of my account the bar stewards.. the nice woman offered to reimburse it all right away but that wasn't enough for me, whilst i was all wound up i started.. how can you justify charging me the same rate as someone who is £2000 overdrawn for less than i pound? poor sod got a right earful, anyways no drinking going well only i look like i have a black eye underneath, has this happened to anyone else after they stopped or just me with an un-related injury? hmmm

Afternoon all.
Not had time to catchup with the posts yet (no internet at the weekends) - there's a lot of reading and I have lots to do today.
Anyway, I drank at the weekend, although not last night and I started reading that book that Jo recommended by John Coats. It's quite heavy and I'm not at the point he was but it's really interesting so far.
it being February and a new month and all I feel quite inspired but my down fall is always the weekend. We are so often away or entertaining that I always end up having a drink, and that's OK if it is only the one or two but i jut want to know that I can go and say no (if you see what I mean) Why does it bug me so much?
So I will go for one day at a time as always but am aiming for the high twenties (I have at least one birthday when I know I will have a glass of champagne to toast with).
Right, better get some work done and then I can read through the backlog later.Trying to keep in budget.
