PS - Is it possible to change one's 'username' on MSE?

    I don't think so, sorry :(

Unless you create a whole new user?

Hi Honey B, nice to have you back. I too am watching the debate :D my Ds is heavily in to politics and we may have a question and answer time later:eek:

The good news is that he is thinking of booking a couple of days off work for the election and coming home to vote.:j He has kept himself on the electoral role here as he says his vote will count more?

So of course this will make Budgie very happy :) He very nearly took polotics at uni. I am afraid not so well versed.

Still off to the loo *sorry tmi :o) and to make a cuppa, catch you later.

    Hugs (()) Budgie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I follow politics in the sense of I'm alive & it affects my life, hence i think it's important. I am fearful about this election as I believe apathy will stop people voting at a time when making decisions about our country is so important

I hope that makes sense, the debate is definitely drawing more of my attention!

ps.why does he think his vote will count more at your home than his? *shrug*

Hi Honey, re: the vote thingy. I think it is because where he lives at the moment is such a safe seat. So voting here will make more of an impact? I think I have that right???

    I shall have to check?

But I do agree re: apathy and yes this debate is a first for the uk, so it will create more interest.

I shall be voting, tbh I wouldn't dare not.

    Hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Potentially less life changing or historic tho? But enjoy :)

It did take half an hour but I have shouted at my tv... :o :rotfl:

Makes sense, Budgie. Although, I guess it also depends who is in the safe seat?

I hope you are taking notes for your Q&A with him later ;)
