Scurries off to consult book of successfull chat up lines :o:D

Starting with "hello" "good morning/afternoon/evening" etc always helps ;)

I've just watched the SATC movie & I'm off to do some bear-pampering in readiness for the return of Gene Hunt later :D

  • The rain stopped :). I decided to make a start on the mega piles of washing here but when I started the washing machine up, it blew the circuit breaker  . It did it 4 times so called service centre and
they are shut. Not a happy Easter Bunny here with a pile of soggy dirty washing. Have started hand washing it now. Had a rant at DS2 about lack of help etc. around the house from both DSs. Now feel guilty about ranting :(. He didn't really deserve it. Don't know why I am so grumpy this afternoon! Maybe I have just too many things to do and I think I ought to be enjoying the holidays.

I hope everyone else is chilling out :)

Enjoy the evening with Gene Hunt HB

Oh chin up DB - hope your mood lifts soon

As for me, the ex has been around and I now feel v.sad. It's a good job I've committed to being AF as I am feeling tempted.

My eczema has flared up again (it's HIM!) and is itching away irritatingly.

Oh well better some up some motivation to do some yoga to clear my mind and then get ready for the return of Gene!

Oh DB, I'm sorry, hon. Sounds awful :( *hugs*

Sparkles, try not to scratch! You're clearly allergic to him so definitely better off without ;)

    Evening everyone

Sparkles - ((hugs)) hope that excema starts to clear soon.
DB - ((hugs)) to you too.
    PBT - just :eek::eek:

Wonder when we'll be hearing from our lovely Budgie? She was hoping her DS would get her on-line over easter. Missed having her around!

Well, after all my moaning this morning, me, OH and Piglet had a lovely afternoon. We dropped kids off at Grannys and then took Piglet to local indoor play area. We were there nearly two hours and he had a whale of a time. It was lovely to see him playing with other kids, chatting away to them (he's been a very shy child and slow to speak so its fantastic to see him coming out of his shell). We came home and made home-made pizza's for tea. Piglet made a fine mess of making the dough:eek: All good fun though.

Had a chat with step-daughter this morning. She admits its difficult to speak to her Mum about stuff as she flies off the handle. We reassured her we are her to listen and I think she was grateful for that. Fingers crossed she's as sensible as she promises to be (ie waiting till she's 16 etc)

Oh, and yes, having to go to in-laws today DID immediately make me think of/crave wine. So that IS a trigger and something I have to deal with. PBT, you are right...inlaws come into the "things I cannot change" category so will have to learn to deal with things in a different way I suppose.

Anyway, off to have a laze on the sofa and read a book......or make a chocolate cake.....!

    Miss P
    xx
