  • Whoops - Maman - I thought it was MID APRIL - damn this dyslexia malkarkie

Sorry - I did mean to be a help :( - and yup its lovely :) glad you had fun!

I need to go paint - and do something - so far only done this/drunk coffee/checked emails - updated my challenge spreadsheet and also said hi to Peedie who is very sleepy!

Miss P - once they get big enough to pick YOU up they love it - mine are both taller now - (not hard I am the size of a gnat) and they love putting their arm over my shoulder - ratbags.

Sorry you had to visit the outlaws MissP, hopefully they weren't too insulting to you even though they drove you to drink:mad: Well done on your resolve for April. Jumping straight back on the horse (or wagon) is the best plan. Good idea to reserve your seat as it might get crowded!

They had their moments. Final straw for me was MIL keep calling OH's ex-wife by MY name (our names ARE very similar but mine is definately mine!!) Am sure she does it just to rile me. Oh and she pointed out a plant that the ex-wife bought her 17 years ago, isn't it marvellous, wasn't she kind to get her it blah de bloody blah!

    Ok, I'm calm......and breathe....

Oh and FIL got a microwave off a SKIP for christs sake and said we were to have it as ours has died. I very politely said no thanks and he got all stroppy. Think the phrase beggars can't be choosers was uttered....didn't realise I WAS a beggar!!!!

    No really.....I AM calm.......

    And I'll shut up now!!!

    Miss P

OH's Mum just sort of ignores me and the kids - not really but you know what I mean - no xmas pressies etc - so I'm a single parent - not exactly the crime of the century - as I don't need her approval for my life I chose to be polite - but distant - as far as I'm concerned she's really nothing to do with me, my family or my life - drives her crackers.

    Hugs Miss P.

  • OK you lot have alot to answer for

I opened cupboard at OH's to get the colander to let the langoustines defrost (yup yum lovely supper planned - told you I would make a goodly wife one day) and there are TWO big humungous boxes of posh biscuits in the cupboard.

    ARGHGHGHGHGGH

Changed my tea plans to a cupasoup - can't dunk a biscuit in that can I?
