We're 'posh' camping - IE indoors with a few beds etc and not much else

I have been AF for 6 days now :T not planning on total abstinence but being careful when I do go out and drink.

And what does MAD mean? I need to get used to these abbreviations lol

Well done Lilith (fab name btw - no similarity to Frasier Crane's ex wife I trust?)on your 6 AFD's great start to your MAD campaign (stands for March Alcohol Detox btw)

Number 9 for me please Shaggy - feel rather out of sorts (suspecting that OH has graciously passed on his manflu ) so don't think that there'll be any nasty drinking to be done today

Hope you're ok HB - mmmmmm evenings out that deteriorate after alcohol consumption? How surreal is it to be looking at the proceedings through sober eyes and largely thinking 'what the f**k?!@'

Maman, there's a good thread here on things to do in Edinburgh, one thing for sure you won't be bored. Plus there are lots of great MSE activities.

My best tip? Don't take a car into the centre of Edinburgh at the moment:eek:. £3 a day buys a one day bus pass. The bus services are very good and will take you everywhere you want to go.

I know we haven't spoken before but I went to Edinburgh a few years ago and went to this restaurant called Bad A** and it certainly was - they do a mean haggis with chips. Yum yum! :T

No the name is actually the name of a female devil lol - not that I'm a devil worshipper or anything but I just think the name is really pretty
