I'm going to get more chooks - ideally I'd like to grow my own fuel but I am not sure he'd go for that!

Morning lurks and 40sm - yum to proper eggs!

  • [QUOTE=fayjmck;30185175 I liked the low-carb thing (although I've never done it for more than a month or so) but it definitely doesnt work if you're drinking any alochol cos of all the hidden sugar

    Sweet dreams![/QUOTE]

    red wine 0.3g carb/140ml
    sweet white wine 8.3g/140 ml
    dry white wine 0.8g/140ml

red wine is my preferred and usual libation ;)

Hey FC - I'm sure you're right - but I can't say I completely agree with that - my book says different (ie remove the 0. bit and just have the 3g bit!!!!) - wierd eh?! I looked last night - but the books at home

But they are averages I suppose :) well done on losing so much weight.

However - and this is no joke of a lie, the most drunk in my life I've ever been is when on aitkins - dunno if its the lack of carbs in your diet or how your body is when in keytosis (sp) - even one glass of wine knocked me for six and stopped the keytosis bit.

But I found alcohol and aitkins to be something I didn't mix - prob just my random experience :)

Ignore my ramblings - I'm off to work hard now honest!!!!

    Goodluck with it all FC

  • Good morning everyone,

I haven't been around since last week but I am back on the
AF again, so I am on 4 now and will not be drinking this evening either.

Went a bit mad on it last Thursday and felt so rough on the Friday I did not go to work. We were at friends on the Saturday for dinner so all in all I defo fell off the wagon.

    Good luck everyone

    D
  • Habbit welcome back aboard - thing about this AF lark is that each new day is shiny and full of opportunities.

Wagon always has a seat for one more on the bumpy road :)..........squishes up and offers Habbit a seat for later :)

I do venture often to the 'naughty step' when I fall off myself.

But all in all I think I prefer the view on the AF ride better :) ............. speaking of wagons - anyone seen Molls lately?
