Je Depose ma valise
Surely it's "I'll get my bag" in a "I'll get my coat" type scenario having made a typical Lurky bad joke

Hello chaps
I had to share this - for those of you who know me - you'll be shocked
I'm heading to school 'options evening' with DD so am in full mummy gear - skirt, nice top, lovely jacket, heels, rings, earings, necklace and super glossy brushed hair - with make up on......................and some calvin klein parfumI just need to document these times cos they don't happen often - DD just said who are you and where's the mudd splattered mother who arrived earlier
catch you all later
I'll be FAFFing with teachers being a proper grown up mummy

Fay :rotfl:I know what you mean. I sometimes go and get DD from after school club straight from dog walk in jeans and muddy wellies and don't feel grown up enough to be a mother of a school age child.
I was supposed to work from home today but as I only had one thing to do I never got around doing it. There is tomorrow.
Feeling great and rested for a change thou so no danger zone for me today. Ready for my first long run tomorrow.(ok it will only be 20 minutes but 4 weeks ago I struggled with 2 minutes) Might even go for a little swim afterwards :jOh and immediate weight loss for me tomorrow as getting my mane cut - resembling a shetland pony at the moment.
It is 18 for me you High Stripestress"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Hi Everyone.
Jo - hugs and onwards and upward, Great news about the interview. :T
I think Lurks is saying "I rest my case" in the barrister sense re. the vimto!
Or maybe not. Perhaps he's packed a bag of Vimto. Mon French est carp?
or should that be Mon Francaise est shot?
