Oooops my bad. You're are right 544 in a bottle of medium white wine, 688 in a bottle of sweet and just  481 in a dry! Red is about 500 too. What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Eselt - that sounds absolutely horrible for you, what a terrible time you and your family are going through. Thank you for your timely warning - I do worry about the longterm effects of my drinking and that is another reason for me cutting down considerably.
Take care of yourself and thankyou for taking the time to drop by when you've got so much going on x

Eselt, hugs to you hunny, I am so sorry to hear you are still suffering after such a long time of abstinence. Thank you for the stark warning. Please keep in touch and let us know how you're getting on xxx
BHB, well done that man :T:T:T:T
About to embark on my job application form and supporting statement....could take a while! But (thankfully) OH is taking DS to cinema today and then OH is off out tonight (I thought he was going out last night but he'd changed his plans) so I have all day to myself. Me and DD2 will have a girly day once my application is shaping up, she's promised to sit and watch a film quietly this morning so I can get on with it :rotfl:
Anyone watch Corrie last night? (I know you did MP :rotfl:), OH was taking the mickey out of me for taking it so seriously, I know it's not real life, but watching Peter slowly fall off the wagon over the past couple of days has been very upsetting and true to life. When he went to his meeting and said that he had a glass of wine and felt like he'd come home I could understand what he meant, even his facial expressions were so realistic, he honestly believed that he could now pick up one glass of wine and stop there. Very moving stuff that Corrie lol :rotfl:DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -

Wish I'd seen Corrie - sounded good and the description of coming home feeling when starting a glass of wine hit a chord with me.
