    Awww shucks!!!!!!!!

No need for the applause, no really, no need!

A strange thing happened today. I went to buy for sparkling fruit juice and I saw a friend who said what am I getting, I replied some pop for tonight and they said what? Wine?

    No, pop, really!

Just because it was a Friday and buying bottles in the supermarket doesn't mean it was booze! Funny how everyone makes this assumption on this day of the week.

Still another day over and done with AF and looking forward to the rugby tomorrow and being AF all weekend for the first time in a long time. Feel I have turned a corner again over the last couple of weeks. It has been on my mind so much over the last few weeks and only have a couple of drinking days in the last couple of weeks has done me the world of good in some respects and has strengthend my decision to be AF all month.

I know I will waiver at some points and I know I will be tempted by cravings but I need to remember that it will pass and I just need to hang in there

Just need to get the energy levels sorted out and sort out this waking up and getting going problem to not a problem anymore!

  • Thankyou all fellow FAFFers. I've been doing really well. Only one alcohol day since 27th October but tonight I actually had my hand around a bottle of wine. Had a mental tussle then put it back. Was feeling all uptight and urghhhh! I've just got back from the shop, made myself a pint of blackcurrant, and caught up on here. Feeling much better.

I'm irritable, moody, shouty and not a particulrly pleasant person to be around tonight BUT i haven't had a drink.

So thanks all for you being here!
