Fantastic :T:T:T:T
I haven't spent a bean on alcohol since New Year. Best of all I'm probably only 2 pay days away from being debt free:D
However, zero weight loss this week but I have lost 5 pounds in last 32 days so not too despondent. What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
Hi all- you are all doing so well I could weeep, I really could.
Sorry I've not offfered the support I should have to you guys over the last few weeks. I had a bit of an alcohol shock- cause after giving up for all this time I have I thought I would be OK- but I've (alcoholic) problems with my pancreas (any biologists know about this?) and I've been in and out of hospital- guys its been horrible, don't put yourselves'or your families through this- even though I don't touch a drop now everyone knows why you are there and your families will go through hell. In fact my 15 yr old said to me today, 'well I never thought you'd see me go to university mum'.
Please be careful everyone, I don't want to bring everyones weekends down, but this stuff is treacherous- enjoy it, but treat it with care
I think everyone on here is great- funny, clever, thoughtful, empathising- catch you all later.
((Hugs)) to you Eselt . I am worried to hear that you had to go into hospital . Are you ok now hun ? You are a wonderful support to us and we all love you, Take care of you.!!

that's great, I'm not using the money I've saved against my debts though, I know it's not very mse but for the last three years I've put every spare penny towards paying my debts, part of the reason i sat in at night hugging a bottle is cause i wouldn't / couldn't justify spending money on outfits/haircuts/going out, so I've pledged the money i save will be used for me to get out of this rut! also the fact that I'm not drinking means I'm out there working in my taxi longer, last night i earned twice as much as i normally do on a Friday cause i wasn't rushing home for a drink, so the extra will be paying towards my debts. Congrats on the weight loss, mine has dropped of this week which must be because of the booze, 500 cals in a bottle of wine :eek:get rid of all the pounds by summer !!
