I am posting this to hopefully save people the pain I have been through. After a hard sell (I should have known better!!) I signed up for two phones on a 24 month contract. The cost £44.90pm. Tigercom promised me in writing, that they would automatically credit me, every month the difference between the amount Orange billed me £90.00 and £44.90. This has never happened. I have collectively called and written to them 73 times and all they do is lie to me. In the meantime I am a small business overpaying money I just can't afford.

Please, steer clear of this company Tigercom, they are con merchants!!

My sympathy but a firm offering more than 50% cashback falls into fantasy island territory.

As always, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

Have very bad experience with these people. Stuck in a 2 year contract which i didn't even sign. Sales rep came to my work place and lied threw his teeth about tarrif, ... will be complaining, costing me a fortune, anybody in same predicament get in touch

Yes I'm in the same predicament, tigercom guys calls me promised me phone contract £15.99 per month 2000 minutes,2000 texts and email i changed two phones over after chasing them for 7 months for the cash back each month and each month they lie to me but did get the money in the end but on the 7th month they said i had to send them a voucher i was sent with the hand sets to claim the ongoing payments<but they never sent any vouchers and they called me a lair and said i have lost them so i am now paying £45 per month for each hand set<spoke to orange they said they can not help me anymore they have done all they can,i am now stuck in a 2 year contract. As far as i'm aware they mis sold me in the first place as we could not get a signal for nearly six months after the guy said it would be as good if not better than the network i was with...but i will phone tigercom every day until its sorted...
  • I have had an account with Tiger.com since April 2010 and would like to warn ANYone planning to take a contract with them to think VERY carefully... extremely unprofessional shark of a company.

I have had problems with this company since the word go. They have ripped me off to the tune of hundreds of pounds and cannot wait until the date comes to cancel any connection between them and me.
EVERYTHING is made as complicated to avoid you claiming the redemption (I even had them claiming I didn't send in a claim form - which I know I dod) by their t&cs say that proof of purchase is not proof of delivery... how convenient!

KEEP well away from Tiger-com Glasgow unless you like to lose lots of money. I'm an easy kind-of-guy and they will win every time...!

I would love to have the time and the know-how, how I could sue them for the losses I have had - but putting this on here is only one way I am trying to let everyone know how bad they are.

I can honestly say that the stress this unprofessional shark-like company has given me is not worth the hassle.

Can you tell I'm pee'd off with them - and you can be too, if you call 0800999 88 99 and ask for a rip-off phone deal...!! Tiger.com, never again. Ian
  • Tiger-com are a disgrace they owe me hundreds of pounds chased, chased and chased them. Had anoth of wasting my time now, nearly out of the 24 month contract and will never go with them and Orange again. They both are not bothered as long as the money is rolling in for them.

I have to agree with the two posts above. They owe me hundreds too. I used Tigercom for my very small business/hobby and was very very unhappy. Redemption was by vouchers which though they claimed they had sent me, I did not receive until after I had made several calls to find out why after the initial 6 months I was paying so much. I actually did not know I had to send back any vouchers and was told I just had to contact them. They are date sensitive and a day out is no good. I was paying £54 a month for a phone and contract I rarely used, I could barely afford it and trying to sort it out had me in tears of frustration. Orange could not seem to do much though they seemed to konow that there were complaints about Tigercom. I got back only the final 6months redemption because of the intervention of the handset supplier. There are better, more reliable, easier to operate companies out there. I would advise anyone to steer clear as terms and conditions are hard to follow and phone staff counter-helpful.
