Tiger-com.co.uk - any info?
A family friend got a phone call and ended up signing up for a 2 year contract with Tiger-com - website https://www.tiger-com.co.uk
Has a very good deal but there just seems so little information about them and she's not sure if her details will be safe.
Does anyone else have any experience with them?
Thanks!

Looks a business mobile offering - is your friend operating a company or something?0
-
Yep she has a business line. Was more worried about being asked for so much information over the phone - had already given bank details then her son had trouble finding info on them.
[TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM].
They were supposed to do everything for her but they're having trouble getting some info - she phoned O2 and they said they wouldn't give another company the PUK code or whatever it is as she would have to give them that info.
It was just to make sure they are genuine - especially since they have bank details.TWBM in 2010 (#200): DSLR Camera, DS, £1K+ cash

Looks to be linked to a private company called Voicestream Ltd which is based in Glasgow.
Personally I would go direct to the network for a business offering, Vodafone spring to mind for the business offerings.
Whats the deal thats been offered and what trouble are they having - I would try to get out of it if you are unsure about them.0 -
Some information about voicestream http://www.prlog.org/10070088-voicestream-uk-accquires-stake-in-helios-outsourcing-www-heliosoutsourcing-com.html (mentions tigercom in the article).0

For £17.49 a month - unlimited texts, unlimited landline calls and 900 mobile minutes.
They seem to be linked to Orange when she calls them.
It is a good deal for her but 2 years is a long contract. So just making sure.TWBM in 2010 (#200): DSLR Camera, DS, £1K+ cash

Is that £17.49 plus TAT ?
Could go on about phone etc. but as your concern is about the company, it seems to be ok (not that impressed by their web site to be honest, looks too basic).0 -
Not sure if that is total - she's just left but have given her all the info so not sure what she's going to do. I'll keep checking back if anyone finds anything else and pass info on. Not sure what day she signed up for it.
Thanks for the help OneADay

had a cold call from a mobile firm called tiger, they were offering me 2000 min to any mobile anytime,3000 to any landlline anytime,200 texts, unlimited internet.
the cost is 10 pound a month they say it's a subsidized 2 year business sim only deal.
10 pounds would be taken out of my bank account they would then credit the remaining balance to orange,i would'nt have to claim anything back.
it seems to good to be true, anyone heard of this company.0 -
There is a real company called Tiger that deals in mobile phones. This offer, however, sounds highly improbable.
If you can contact them, get their URL web address and check it out.
You can also ask Orange.
But if you give a 3rd party you don't know or trust your bank details - as per the famous Nigerian widow of a General scams - then don't be surprised if a damned sight more than £10 is taken.
Be very, very cautious.0 -
he did ask for my bank details, but told him i wouldn't give any until i had recieved terms and conditions0
