I do, but I don't buy new cars, so warranty isn't an issue for me, not that a Honda is very likely to go wrong.

None of the Honda's that I have ever owned has ever had single thing go wrong with them, just serviced and cared for.

I suspect the Kia warranty after the first 2 or 3 years is a diluted version. which is also probably not transferable... anyone?

Imagine the combination of water, super shiny floor tiles and salesmen with plastic soled shoes. :D

Not diluted, only by upper mileage of 100,000 miles, better than most of the big makers and fully transferable.

The Kia and Hyundai warranties sound fabulously impressive dont they. But I guess we need to wait the 5 or 7 years to see whether they are honoured.

Some of the Hyundai 5 year ones are actually almost 5 years old now, and have been fully honoured.

I can see no reason why not with the Kia ones, effectively the same company as Hyundai, and a huge company at that.

I would say that they are in far better financial position than the likes of Vauxhall ( GM ) or Ford.:(

It just doesnt seem feasible that cars costing so little could be fully covered for that period of time.

I've wondered when there have been longer warranties if it's just a ruse to get you to keep servicing your car with them.

i know a guy that worked with a hyundai dealers, thier service manager went off his head with the amount of folk waiting till the last week or so of warranty and then brought them in with loads of things to be done under warranty, they always honoured them, even the 5 year ones.
