re: Linda pushing the miles (or anyone for that matter) I think its fine as long as you dont push every run in a week, take it a bit easier on the others and it shouldnt too much harm0 -

I'm back and I am NOT losing my mind!!!! Woohooo!
Walked into see Dr and he was so nice, said that he was glad I was back as I have *dum dum dum dum* Hypothyroidism (and a kidney infection to boot, lol) so there is a good reason I have been feel so tired, crap, cold, and FAT! Have started on new drugs as of today and been signed off work for 2 weeks. Still seeing other Dr next week but the bleeding is all linked in with this thyroid problem. I have to say, I sat in the car and cried after because at least I know WHY I have been feeling so bloody low.
Thanks everyone for your kind words as well, it means the world to me xxxEmpty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

Join the club Bunny, I've had hypothyroidism for years and really suffer with extremes of hot and cold - especially my hands and feet.
Have you had a blood test because it can affect your cholesterol levels and Vit b12 absorbtion as well.
It can give you problems with horrendous mood swings, deep depression, irritability, clumsiness, restlessness and allsorts.
You will get free prescriptions for life now! One 'perk' of hypothyroidism of Myxodoema
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
