  • Thanks Linda-I was trying to decide the best way to ask people to bring things food wise-do you want to choose? Or do I make a list up and people check off, or do I just bite the bullet and do it myself???

Apparently Matalan has a load of '40th' stuff for decorating.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
  • The Hall has heating, chairs, tables and a kitchen. All quite basic but clean and well, village hall-y, if you catch my drift...

I thought that was the arrangement from the start that we'd all bring something along!

Is your facebook event page private bookie, We can make a list on there and people can put their names next to things.
I have a Matalan very close to me with a huge party section so i'll see what's in!

We could bring fairy lights as well to make it all pretty!

Pepe, it was in my name only and I was self employed...I was never told I would have to 'wind my business down' in order to claim etc.

I will pay off debt when I get it, and buy a new car...and maybe treat my nearest and dearest to a weekend away.

    Thanks Maz xxxx

Even better ! Since when has anyone done anything to help the Self-Employed?
