Morning all
Up bright and early today (well for me anyway) as I found out yesterday that I didn't get on the course I applied to, so I now need to consider a new plan of action, and maybe find a job that pays and ups my experience at the same time.
Hope all are well
Hugs to those who need them.

Chuck a muffin this way Linda!
I was out all day yesterday and got back late last night and my laptop died in mid post! Now on main comp which is unbearably slow - takem me half an hour to get into it. Trying to sort new charger sor the lappie.
I had a lovely suprise when I opened my post last night- I don't know which of you did it but thank you so much. It was lovely (but naughty) and very much appreciated. Don't know where I would be without you lot.
Back in a mo - need to move the computer so I can sit down to use it.0 -
Hi Blaise, this is a strange and often meandering thread that we use to chat about anything and anything!
Welcome aboard...
....You brought biscuits, right?
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

having pushed it tho Linda, you have probably forced some improvement, which will make your general running better..... altho im sure some professionals will disagree.
Well done for getting out there... sometimes it does good to push your boundaries!
i have been idling along at 4-5 miles since last year, just the odd 6, but no improvements really since Leeds... well, my pace has improved a wee bit, but not my distance....
This is the year of the milage for me! lol!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0
