Or from our local ethnic fast-food supplier - who offers 'Pizzas' along with 'Pakora's' and 'Bhaji's' ......
Or from the motoring writers who think cars are fitted with 'breaks'
Or from one of my local EAs who says he thinks about things from the clients' 'prospective' .....
I could run with this for hours, honestly, but supper calls.....0 -
Oh, almost forgot - my 'classic' from recent times; a local car valeting co., who repeated a few times in his flyer that the 'Door Shuts' were cleaned.
The 'I' is next to the 'U' on the keyboard. You'll have to guess what they mistyped it as, because I can't type it here without the naughty word filter stopping me......0 -

What a joke !!
P.S I hope no spelling mistakes here !!
Accurateness?? Everyone knows it's professionalism and accurativity am the very basic service...... :T0 -

I suspect if the house was what you’re looking for at an exceedingly good asking price you’d take the risk.PottyHouse wrote: »…if they can't get the basics right or even check for errors they are idiots, that is the reputation they are portraying, and if they are EAs I probably wouldn't view any house on their books for fear of being messed around.
Where my sister lives you might actually require that service…Oh, almost forgot - my 'classic' from recent times; a local car valeting co., who repeated a few times in his flyer that the 'Door Shuts' were cleaned.

I know what you mean, I don't think everyone should spell perfectly all the time but you'd think they would check their work more carefully if they're going to be publishing something to the general public!0

are they waiting for advice about holding a raffle for the carrots ?0 -
You would also hope a branch manager of a very large UK chain of agents would advertise that a house on the end of a block of four as an end terraced. He was advertising it as a semi-detached.
Told me I didn't know what I was talking about when I pointed it out and it wasn't a problem as people would see what it was for themselves. Also told me that the value was not affected by it being attached to three other houses. By the way this wasn't a one off ad, but had been advertised as such for weeks. Also told me I wasn't entitled to view the HIPS as that would be sent to my conveyancer if the repo company accepted my offer which had to be the asking price. WRONG, WRONG and WRONG.
A visit instigated by me from Trading Standards seemed to change his mind about things. Several months on, the house is still for sale but advertised as an end-terrace. Obviously no longer quite the bargain he believed it to be.0
