    I called Vanquis today and they said that they have a backlog of two and a half weeks on receiving the proof of address' have you ever heard anything so stupid?

    Tis a fair point - Halifax have a 10 day delay on Easycash applications, too.

    It's because of the surge in sub prime credit applications. But still, you can be sure Vanquis will handle the extra workload worse than any other bank or other creditor.

    I'm annoyed as they don't have online statements or balance updates, meaning I have to phone to get the balance

    And in any case, I wouldn't want them to introduce online account servicing. If it's as good and well thought out as the rest of their operation, it'll get hacked / hijacked within five minutes...
