Hi, Just a quick update, got 2 letters this morning one from Natwest and one from Mint (pretty sure they're the same people - anyone know his for sure?) both saying they're willing to accept my payments from CCCS, and they'll stop interest when they get the first payment.
:T:T:T:T
Then goes on to say miss a payment and we'll be coming for you... or something along those lines!
Anyway, cheered me up, two down nine to go.0 -

That's great news! :j:j
Best way to find out if they're linked is to go onto Wikipedia, that's how I've checked in the past.
Looks like Mint is run by RBS, which is a subsidiary of NatWest.Paddle No 16

Phew! Phoned up NatWest and after a bit of 'we can't find the details' panic (I felt sick). My new a/c has been approved and I should get full details through the post Fri/Sat, then a card will follow next week :j
I also spoke to the lovely people at CCCS (how nice are they!?) and sorted first payment for March 1st.
FYI - as I get paid 15th of every month, I can either hang onto the cash until a DD on the 1st OR set up a standing order to come out when I choose (16th). Personally the quicker it's out of my a/c the better!
I also asked about claiming back charges/PPI etc. and they advised to sit tight until the DMP is agreed by all and then go after charges etc. in a few months...don't want to upset the beast! Lol!Paddle No 16

Posted yesterday, just logging on to thank those who replied to me and everyone else brave enough to post on here; it's helped me immensely to read posts and realise I'm not alone...I'm better off than some, worse off than others but we're essentially all in the same boat!

Welcome to the boat...it is a strange feeling, the calm before the storm!!
I just keeping reminding myself that by the end of March all the drama will be over (hopefully) and I can get on with my life
Keep us posted on how you get on and we can share the scary letters together! :eek:Paddle No 16

hi all
had a weird day to-day and couldn't find an Aldi to go in and have a giggle. Got a pile of letters to-day, OH got one from Cap1 saying they couldn't accept his letter because they don't think it was his signature!!! They really lovely people at Citi completely ignored the letters and wrote to say that they were putting up the interest to 29.9%!!!!! CCCS wrote to say that M&S wouldn't accept our payment after they wrote to me and said the would????? An amex sent me the same scary letter as they sent yesterday God save me from all these numpties!More than Two Years in

Hi I got the same letter re M&S. I thought they had agreed to it, but on reading it again, they said they would but as I was not going to be paying the necessary 1% they are going to default me. I was quite disappointed, its the first refusal but never mind. Im just gonna follow CCCS's advice and ride out the storm and see what happens.
Cant believe Citi put your interest up so much , best speak to CCCS about that one.

Hi everyone!
Sorry I've not been around for a few days, but hopefully tomorrow will be the last day on the bathroom! Been grouting so much I no longer have finger prints!
Good news on your account VicB I got my acceptance on my basic account from RBS yesterday, looking forward to getting things on the straight and narrow!
Hope everyone's ok - I'm off to catch up on the rest of the thread, hopefully "speak" tomorrowxx

Hi all
I'm starting to feel hard done by; not because of financial pressures (brought it on myself and needed to change my ways) but because i don't have an Aldi near me.
