Sounds like Cahoot who accepted someone's DMP because they 'accept anything'... Good news though eh?:)
It is good news, I definitely can't grumble, I did think they'd be the worst one (they are my highest creditor)...fingers crossed for the rest xPaddle No 16

Well, here's a little update for you!...
After HSBC have been stalking for weeks and yesterday sent me a message via my internet banking to call them. So I thought I'd suck it up and do it (god, how brave!).
So, to cut a long story short (most of which I could barely hear, as the connection was awful!)...
They hadn't received anything for CCCS (this is the second creditor that's told me this!?) but explained I was on DMP, so they've cancelled the standing order (which internet banking wouldn't let me do), cancelled all charges & interest (!!) AND....wait for it....said they'd accept the DMP 'because they have no choice' :eek::eek: And this bearing in mind they didn't know final DMP amount as I didn't have paperwork with me (at work) and they hadn't received anything from CCCS.
...so that's 3 down 4 to go!! :j

Wish I'd spoken your person .... I assume hsbc have accepted our dmp because of the statement we got a few days ago, the git I spoke to on the phone said we wont be accepting THAT amount!? It is the luck of the draw when you phone these people, it was 3rd time lucky for me! Even when I said 'is this the best number to call about my DMP?'...he said 'you won't need to call us once its up and running' :eek: He also refunded the £25 charge for bouncing my last payment :eek: wonders will never cease....
