Lovely letter in the post this morning from Natwest, telling us that we have now missed two payments and we owe this much bla bla bla. Been read and filed.

    Decided I dont care anymore!

Tried ringing CCCS but was on hold for ages, Im guessing monday is a very popular day. Im sure they prob already know about Natwest and them not stopping interest anyway.

Still not sure what do to about BofS. think I might wait another week and see if I hear anything more from them. Its not like I can pay any more money so the rest is kinda up to them.

Hiya True how was your weekend?

Losing its annoyong the whole MBNA and Virgin thing. Mind you the other lots are just as bad. Different rules for different people. Dont set up and DDs tho, the DMP is the only money they get now, unless you are sending extra through the DMP to all creditors. It'll just be a standard letter that gets sent out. Do as I do do read it then file it and forget about it :)

Did someone mention wine already? Its only monday... mines a large one :rotfl:

I've been looking at the UK, last time we were abroad the euro was up and the pound was sinking fast, so it cost an absolute fortune, started my light bulb flickering I think, just so much money for not a great deal. So looking at cottages and caravans in UK, it had better be a good summer!

Hi Mama, my amounts will be lower than Nonny's too so no idea how they will take it... I'm with Next and I've had the same letter re investigating my query...

Tedsd our cccs offers are around the 1/4 to 1/5 of the minimum payment we were making, our only out and out nope that's not enough to stop interest and charges is hsbc, letting the others who we've not heard from yet just get along with decideing in their own time, don't want to pick the scab iykwim!

Holidays on aeroplanes:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:noooooooo not with my three, want to borrow them and then a uk based hol will seem the best best thing possible! Did a half hour flight on my own with them last year, put me off for at least till they are paying for their own holiday. Last year northumberland coast was fab, gorgeous beaches, on the good days some of the pics looked caribbean... anglesea was great too, cornwall and NI antrim coast also get top votes from me....want somewhere diff this year, any ideas?

We should swap houses...although whoever got ours might be a tad disappointed about the standards considering our debt mountain:eek:

    Hi Mama

Agree withNorthumberland, fantastic beaches and totally empty!
West Coast of Scotland is very beautiful, quiet but unfortunately verrrry expensive and it lacks amenities. They think you will just look at the scenery and not want to eat , drink, go to the loo...... Looked at a cottage yesterday online, beautiful overlooking summer isles, quiet, pub along the road, £802 FOR A WEEK. Had to lie down for a while......

  • Maybe we could all house swap? I believe some are from Scotland and others from Cornwall, lots of free museums in London :)

    Hi All,

just read an internet Headline - MPs not happy with the way Scottish banks, who are being funded by the tax payer, are treating customers who fall into debt.....

There was a report done by the Scottish government and they have come up with quite a few good points (we all knew it anyway), they are basically too busy flinging big bonuses around, ignoring the needs of business (definitely) and are treating those unfortunate enough to be in debt (do you think they mean us:p)in a disgraceful and often unfair manner (could have told them that as well). They are also noted to be making it very difficult to deal with them in a "meaningful manner" I think the Scottish government may be hiding on here somewhere.........:)

  • Hi all hope everyone is well and coping ok:).

Today I have completed my creditor letters ready to post with my £1 P/O's, recorded delivery tomorrow, so there's definately no going back:eek:. I've also re-instated my life policy, on CCCS advice, as I had let it lapse in Dec due to having no money:o so I feel a lot better knowing that we're covered again. I've also transferred all DD's and payments over to my new Co-op account so am feeling rather sorted at the moment, probably the calm before the storm:rotfl:

    Well done Happy

You are away, it will be OK, you would have been 103 before it was paid off in your past life, now you'll still be a young thing:T

Don't you feel much better now:)
