Free Carbon Monoxide Detectors (First 1000 to apply)

I was the OP of the Carbon Monoxide Alarm and I am so sad to see that they are already seeping onto Ebay. It makes me so sad that people can actually sell a freebie that could have saved someone elses life. If you didnt need it you shouldnt have applied.....easy. It would have been better if those that needed one got one rather than those that applied to sell it on.0

Received mine this morning and my families health means more than a few quid on ebay............I guess they'd sell their Mother for a few quid too.

I'm not at home so I can't check the one I received but is the Ebay item the same as the freebie ones received (ie were the freebies combined carbon monoxide & smoke alarm ?). I also noted that the seller has multiple units and I imagine has not received any of them from the Trust.0 -

The freebie was a standalone carbon monoxide detector (no smoke alarm)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.

Thanks - that was what I thought. Seems a little unfair to be having a go at an innocent ebay seller !0 -
