    How did you get on..........!

He came out perfectly!! Put him on a 30 wash (without a pillowcase, but I will next time). Lovely and clean and smelling super fresh. I could've sworn his little duck beak had a smile on it when he came out :)

I washed my old Care Bear the other week as he had gone a horrid grey when he should be blue. I stuck mine in a pillow case with the normal washing.
I wasn't ever traumatised by seeing them hang on a washing line as a kid, it was worse when my mum had put them in the freezer to kill off the bugs. Nothing worse than being 6 years old, going in the freezer to get an ice cream and finding your favourite teddy tied up in a clear freezer bag starring at you.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.
  • dry shampoo works well if you have some for one you cant put in the machine

Oh thank you - I have just tried this. It certainly made them smell and look better - though not perfect definitely better.

    You guys are just great!

If you have any toys where the fur is not as fluffy as it used to be, you can get little wooden brushes with tiny metal teeth,I think they were for bringing up the nap on suede and that worked a treat and they only cost about a pound. Prob find them at your local shoe repairers or sewing shop
