  • It is easy to prey on the beareaved. They so desperately want news of the loved one that has left them.

My nan was a medium but she never charged she always told me sprits cant/ don't appear or speak on demand, and they certainly don't charge you for it! She could never understand as i cant the people that get the vunerable to go to their home and tell them want they want to hear.

It may make them feel better but in the long run it wont help. They need to accept that their loved one has gone and move on.

My Mum was talking to her friend the other day. Her friend is a Medium. She said that my Grandfather had come through (He's dead) and was holding up a pair of blue booties (I'm pregnant) then he changed it to pink ones......

It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical
  • Talk about covering all your bases

It could turn out to be twins. :D
  • it's like gambling though, and smoking, it's not good for you but is it really the government's role to ban it? At the end of the day people will pay for it legally or not.

The government wouldn't ban smoking and gambling because they can heavily tax it. I can't see them placing a tax on mediums.... although with Gordon anything is possible.

Well - I do think it is possible to see/hear the dead - because people I know personally have done so with someone close to them and told me about it and they were definitely telling the truth.

On the other hand - I've seen my share of mediums and psychics and have never yet encountered any genuine ones.

So - I'm quite sure that many of us can see/hear someone close to us who has passed on. What I dont know is whether there are genuine mediums/psychics out there at all - there are one heck of a lot of charlatans...but I'm not going to say that there arent actually any genuine ones. I've just never met a genuine one yet - and have given up trying because of the risk of encountering yet another charlatan.

One can judge a lot about someone by just looking/listening to them - but I do recall a case in point of one of these charlatans I encountered saying "you have children at university". Well - look at my age/look at me and...yep...if I actually HAD children then they most probably WOULD be at University. But I dont actually have any children - so ...nope....wrong guess...

HAS anyone at all ever met a genuine one then?
  • I have genuinly seen a medium, I went with a friend because i was sceptical, and sat there mute, as I was determind to say nothing, and she got loads of stuff right even stuff i didnt know about (i questioned family afterwards), i didnt give her any indication as I was too scared to talk!. There was loads of stuff she just couldnt have known about even stuff only known by me alone.

You can call me all you want...Before this I would have totally agreed with you, and I still do in principle because Ive seen people who have just been cluching at straws and chatting rubbish, ive even told them so and refused to pay! But i can honestly say this women was genuine....what other explination is there for the amount of things she knew??
