2 years ago unlimited data was 120mb on vodafone.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

If there's a fault with the phone for aexample I can understand that, but not because the customer didn't read what they were signing! That's their tough luck!0 -

I can see what you say but a few years back a lot of companies did a 7/14 day try it and see type of deal. When everyone one offered it then it had to be done or you'd buy a phone from someone else, but once one company withdrew it so did others, it was a marketting advantage to start with, then became the standard, and now they just don't exist much any longer, like 12 month contracts on a new phone.
Margins are smaller, and competition getting more harsh and the nice to haves go first. A lot of the smaller retailers have gone to the wall, you used to go down a high street and there were tens of differnent companies, not there are just the networks and a few big chains and the big boys know it. Five years ago none of the networks had many stores, but again they muscled out the smaller companies.0 -
My phone (before my iPhone on Vodafone) had unlimited data access, which was capped at 500MB, I used it all day everyday, as I do with my iPhone, I even downloaded loads of songs etc, I have NEVER gone over my internet allowance.
All the networks that do the iPhone have 'Unlimited' data access which is actually down to a fair use policy, the only difference that I can see is that Vodafone are up front with their customers and tell them what it is!!
I got my Vodafone iPhone from Phones 4U and they were great! They even have a sheet telling you they don't do 14 day returns, which you have to read, tick and sign!
I think, tbh, you are fighting a loosing battle, and by the sounds of it, the people in the shop have done nothing wrong. Maybe you should take it up with vodafone as to why their unlimited internet has a 'cap' on it?

As far as iam aware if you go over the 1GB limit you are then charged £5.00 for each extra 500mb. Please check with Vodafone cs about this.0
