Hi aah,
I'm not going to try to sway your opinion one way or the other but its worth remembering that people are very quick to post on forums such as this when they experience problems. TalkTalk have over 3 million customers so the complaints you see are a very small proportion of the customer base. Its also worth taking a look at the TalkTalk Members Forums (https://www.talktalkmembers.com/forums) for an idea of customers experiences.
Cheers

I am the official company representative of Talk Talk. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. Hi Jakg,
The only moderation that takes place on the TalkTalk forums is to remove profanity and offensive material/posting. Take a look for yourself - you don't have to register to read the forums. Customers can post their opinions of the service and the support they receive - good or bad. There is a team of Online Community Executives that answer questions and queries when needed as well as a number of customers that help each other out.
Cheers

Pity that ex-Tiscali customers can't get any answers then!
Perhaps if TalkTalk had been a bit more flexible and offered the same packages to ALL there customers and made it simpler to switch we might not be feeling treated as 2nd rate? Although expecting people to pay more for a lesser service and making us feel greatful is taking the ****....shame on TalkTalk.
They must be a great company to work for:rotfl:0 -

But that ignores the fact that their cost base is entirely different for LLU and non-LLU customers. The price differential reflects that, and this is to 'encourage' you to move to LLU if it's available. They really don't want the more marginal non-LLU customers, and certainly not at the same price.
TT have built themselves a 3m customer base by aggressive pricing and purchasing the opposition. Now they're going about the process of weeding out the unprofitable part of that base.No free lunch, and no free laptop
