    Hi storrie,

I imagine that your friend is pretty frustrated at the moment and I would like to help further if I can.

I can confirm that PAC codes can only be used at the point of connection, you cannot port your number into Vodafones network after the contract has begun.

If MMS has not been provisioned at the beginning of the contract, this can be done quickly and easily either at a store, over the phone or we can do this for you if you contact via the link below. Your friend may need to be sent some MMS settings to ensure that she is able to send/receive MMS sucessfully. Again, this would take a few minutes when speaking with one of our staff and we would be more than happy to do this for you.

The people that you have spoken to are correct in saying that there is no longer a "Cooling Off" period for items brought from a store. You may only return your phone within 7 days if you have purchased online/over the phone due to distance selling regulations.

The only way that a handset can be returned through a store is if the handset is deemed to be faulty, at which point we would arrange for an exchange.

I'm sorry that this information was not made clearer when your friend took out the contract. As I have said previously, if you or your friend would like to discuss any of these matters with our team, feel free to contact us by following this link -
