Not as impressive as it looks I've jiggled things around in order to pay for my travelcard, hoping to have a more impressive list next month!Total debt at lightbulb moment (Jan 2010): £23410

Just realised, technically I now owe just under 23k! This'll change cos of the travelcard but psychologically I am starting to think this is all doable.Total debt at lightbulb moment (Jan 2010): £23410

For some reason I keep staring at these figures and can't believe the scale of the debt.
Annoyingly some of that Advance debt was 5.5% LOTB but we had to use the card in an emergency so the vast majority of that debt is at 15.75% now. With a bit of jiggling I hope to clear the highest APR in 3 months with overpayments, then I can focus on the Advance card. Right now it seems like a long and endless road.Total debt at lightbulb moment (Jan 2010): £23410

My names now on the electoral roll. Tomorrow I need to sort out the A&L overdraft issue. I want to try and deal with Santander at some point this week.
Yet another NSD.Total debt at lightbulb moment (Jan 2010): £23410

Called Santander and they reckon its simply the electoral roll thats the problem and to send off a copy of the letter I get from the council for my appeal. A&L want me to send in details of my account that I transferred everything from, but I have to wait on Halifax to get back to me - they fairly recently lowered the overdraft limit on my main account. I didn't pursue them at the time as I never planned to use it, however this would have been helpful to match for the A&L interest free overdraft which would have been very handy right now.
I'm determined to try and fix this problem and I guess I am trying to run before I can walk, but I really don't want some of these companies profiting as they are!Total debt at lightbulb moment (Jan 2010): £23410

Rather than hijack someones thread I'll moan here! Halifax have given me the run around on the overdraft issue and are only issuing me with 1k., which seems ridiculous as I pay in about £1500 a month and am never in arrears. I pay all my bills on time, and usually more than the minimum. I'm really getting annoyed by them. I don't suppose anyone else has been having problems with Halifax?Total debt at lightbulb moment (Jan 2010): £23410

Been looking through the payments etc, and it looks fairly grim right now. Can't wait til April to hear what we'll owe each month for the council tax and water rates. Fingers crossed its low. I really need to put a dent in these debts. In a couple of weeks I should get an idea of what the minimum payments will be on the other cards and overpay on the highest APR one.
Still owed money, still waiting for my promotion at work, still waiting for my cashback, blah blah blah.
I wont bother posting on here now for a few weeks til I have something positive to say.Total debt at lightbulb moment (Jan 2010): £23410
